GCW-Zero: Open Source Gaming Handheld
Do you consider yourself a GAMER? Want to play games on your lunch or work break? Or while waiting, like at the airport or at a doctor’s office? How about at home, on your Analog or HDTV? You could have hundreds of retro titles in your pocket for playing anywhere! Anything from console gaming, to PC classics, to the great arcade games you grew up playing.
What started as one man’s dream is now a handheld system called the GCW Zero. GCW Zero is an Open Source device that has passed the prototype stage and ready to begin mass production. It needs your support to succeed. The GCW Zero is backed by an outstanding team of developers and the open source community.
The Zero has huge potential as a gaming console; it’s equipped with a powerful 1 GHz processor, and 256MB Ram, Open GL GPU, a vibrant and colorful screen, very responsive physical buttons, an excellent d-pad, and even has an analog stick, providing TRUE analog control! This handheld is capable of TV out, HDMI out, WIFI, USB 2.0 OTG which will allow you to attach extra peripherals such as game controllers or keyboard/mouse combo of your choice and use them together with HDMI/analog video out. An FM radio, Audio/Video, and of course, lots of Gaming FUN!!!!
