Diablo 3 PvP

Blizzard has finally given us an update on the current status of PvP for Diablo III, however they say it "isn't yet where we want it to be," and thus won't be released in its current form.

One of the reasons PvP has not yet been released, is its lack of depth. "Simply fighting each other with no other objectives or choices to make gets old relatively quickly. We've brought a lot of people in to try out Team Deathmatch and, while some found it entertaining, most of our testers didn't feel like it was something they'd want to do beyond a few hours,"

The post (linked below) does mention that "Dueling" will be released soon in patch 1.07, some time after the new year.
