Release Date coming soon!
A Diablo III release date announcement will be coming "in the near future."
The latest news on Diablo III's release date revealed that the game will be coming in the second quarter of 2012. In a post on the game's official forums, director Jay Wilson has now given a small update, promising that fans will know the date as soon as he does.
"We think you're going to love Diablo III when it's released," Wilson wrote. "Speaking of release plans, you can seriously expect a launch-date announcement from us in the near future. See, I didn't say 'soon,' so I'm not taunting you. You'll know as soon as I know for sure the exact date.
And by the way, we want you to have high expectations for Diablo III and all Blizzard games. That’s what pushes us to try to make the best gaming experiences we possibly can. If Diablo III wasn’t a worthy next installment in the Diablo series, we wouldn’t release it. That’s the way we do it. That’s the way we’ve always done it.
As those of you in the beta have seen, the game is in good shape. Actually, I should say that the beta version of the game is in good shape. The latest full build we've been testing here in the office is in great shape"

Re: Diablo III
Getting you up to speed on Diablo III:
Diablo III features five different character classes:
Barbarian
Demon Hunter
Monk
Witch Doctor
Wizard
Today I will give a brief summary of the Barbarian and the Demon hunter;
Barbarian:
The Barbarian is a melee-focused character that mainly does loads of physical damage and taking the hits for his teammates while playing cooperatively.
The Barbarian uses a Rage meter instead of the traditional Mana pool. Certain Barbarian Skills generate Rage and certain Skills use Rage up. Barbarians generate Rage when doing and taking damage. Barbarians can not only wield 2 weapons at once or one huge axe or broadsword, but use a 1-handed weapon with a shield too.
Demon Hunter:
The Demon Hunter's main weapon is a crossbow (and can dual-wield crossbows if two are available). The class seems to focused on dealing significant damage from afar and avoiding the heat of battle.
The Demon Hunter specializes in Shadow Magic, laying Traps, and limiting enemy mobility with a variety of snare skills.
Rather than using an old-fashioned Mana meter, the Demon Hunter actually has two separate meters: Hatred and Discipline. Hatred refills automatically and fuels offensive Skills while Discipline is reserved for tactical Skills.
The Demon Hunter lacks decent melee training, so he possesses evasive maneuvers, like Evasive Fire or Vault.
