Left for Dead 2 will be Valves first game on Linux

We have known for some time now about Valve work on the steam platform on Linux. Today they announced Left for Dead 2 will be the first game for linux, other will be ported over soon. Valve specified it as other "Valve" titles will be ported over so it is not clear if we will see non Valve titles.

Anyone run linux and plan on playing Left for Dead 2 on it?

I think I'll power up my Ubuntu machine and see how well it runs.

Valve says LFD2 runs at 310 fps, while on windows on the same machine runs at 270.6. Well at that many frames it doesn't look any better. We do now know though that Valve games do have better performance on Linux.
