PSN Network Director leaves Sony
Sony has confirmed that Susan Panico has left the company. Panico served as PlayStation Network senior director in North America and was with Sony for seventeen years. Sony released the following statement:
"We can confirm Susan has left SCEA. We thank her for her considerable contribution to our business and wish her every success in the future."
Panico headed the PlayStation Network as it grew into a huge online entertainment network over the last few years, growing beyond games into a collection of movies, TV shows and original content. Worldwide, the service has more than 77 million registered users.
Panico began working at Sony in 1994 before taking over as senior director of PSN in 2007. Sony hasn't announced who will replace her in the position.
