Currently wasting heaps of time in Planetside 2 and having fun!

Hey, I'm one of the mods here, Welcome aboard Chad! I'm Frank, I haven't been on this forum for a bit, but I still watch for activity, working on a whole heap of OC for IGO in my spare time (Lately spare time is few and far between) and most spare time is spent playing games.

I picked up a little ad note at a Gamestop on my way home from work & thought to check things out here. I'll give you a rundown on my intro.

I'm TStodden (I generally go by TS) online.... so if anybody bothers to dig, you can probably find out a fair deal about me.

* Lifelong resident of NW IA
* Gamer since 1985
* Online since 1996
* Nintendo Loyalist -- Comprehensive knowledge of Nintendo systems & games.
* Expanded to non-Nintendo systems in 2000
* Over 2,000 games (including variants / re-releases) under my belt
* FORMER Twin Galaxies senior referee -- Did NOT leave on good terms (New owners royally botched the transition), but I was considered by most players as one of the best referees of the era.

I may come off cold / reserved initially, but I do warm up once I get settled in. I pretty much hang around the Sioux City metro area, but will occasionally travel northward to visit family. If locations on the staff profiles are accurate, it's fairly possible to pass by you at some point without knowing.

Hopefully my work schedule will drop by on regular basis.

Hello and welcome to the site! Always great meeting new members from the Midwest, especially being so close and with a gaming history such as yours. We started IGO as a small local group and decided to expand out to the whole Midwest as a place where you could find gaming news and events in the area. We now do a weekly podcast (if time permits) talking about some of the current gaming news in the world, new releases, and upcoming events in the region. I hope to see you around and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I am near Le Mars myself. Do you enjoy LAN events/tournaments?

I haven't really done any LAN events, mostly due to lack of specialty (I'm more of a generalist gamer) & those events tend to be FPS-oriented (again, not my genre... more my brothers). The last FPS I've played online, I was in the "newbie" skill range.

They will have Call of Duty: Black Ops 2(Xbox 360), Halo 4(Xbox 360), StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm(PC), CS:GO(PC), DOTA 2(PC), Shootmania(PC), and League of Legends(PC).
