Riot Games has announced the League of Legends Season 2 World Championship. On October 13, 2012, players will face off for a $3,000,000 (that's 3million dollars)prize pool – the largest payday in eSports history!
Season two tournament play began in November 2011, with League of Legends players competing in Challenger Circuit events on the road to their finals. By the end of season two, Riot will have given away $5,000,000 in total.

Cant wait to see it, watched most all the season 1 finals @ dreamhack over stream. wish I could afford tickets to the season 2 finals D:
