Retro Ciry Rampage, Dota 2 on tablets, and $25k for SNES games?
Retro City Rampage is currently going through the certification process for Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare. RCR creator Brian Provinciano mentioned on Twitter that the game will "hopefully" be out this month on WiiWare, with no date mentioned for XBLA.
Valve has apparently tested Dota 2 on current-gen tablets and came away with a bad taste in their mouths, studio founder Gabe Newell told Kotaku. Today's tablets just weren't fast enough, apparently: "We were working on getting Dota 2 running on some tablets," Newell said. "That ended up being kind of a disappointment. But the good news is that tablets are getting faster very quickly, so I think we'll get the kind of performance we want and other game developers want in the near future." Dota 2 will come to PC and Mac at a future date that is sooner than originally planned, but still not officially announced.
A Reddit user is selling his Super Nintendo game collection, which contains all 721 SNES games ever released in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, on eBay for $24,999.
The seller, who goes by the name "Byuu" on Reddit, says that every single game in the collection comes with its original box and approximately 85 percent of the games come with their original manuals. The collection does not include unlicensed games, and every game has been professionally cleaned and tested. "They all work perfectly," Byuu says.
